Arm Liposuction in Toronto
What this procedure may address
- Localized upper-arm fat
- Disproportion with acceptable skin tone
- Minor contour refinement combined with another procedure
What patients need to understand
When the arm hangs because of skin rather than fat, liposuction can make laxity more obvious. Brachioplasty may be the correct operation.
Assessment and planning
Assessment includes skin elasticity, circumference, asymmetry, prior weight loss and the relationship between arm and chest-wall tissue.
Recovery
Compression may be recommended. Swelling and firmness can persist for weeks. Final contour evolves as the skin contracts.
Individual postoperative instructions take priority over general timelines published online.
